Celebrating Successful Outcomes

Our hospital rewards employees who excel in their daily work. HealthSouth Plano Rehabilitation Hospital strongly promotes a culture of employee development and higher education.  We celebrate various recognition events throughout the year, including Occupational Therapy Month, Professional Social Work Month, National Nurses Week, and Physical Therapy Month, to name a few.  We also offer various recognition programs, including “Employee of the Quarter” and “Employee of the Year”.

We highly encourage our nursing, therapy and case management staff to seek specialized certification which helps them provide a more individualized care plan.  Several of our Registered Nurses have received their Certified Rehabilitation designation (CRRN®), to help better serve the needs of our patient population.

The HealthSouth HemiMOVE Training Team was hand-selected for therapists with expertise in the field of neurorehabilitation.  One of the 15 HemiMOVE instructors works out of HealthSouth Plano Rehabilitation Hospital and helps educate therapists and nurses to help improve outcomes of our stroke patients.

The commitment to sharing the latest treatment techniques and utilizing modern technology with our staff has led to successful outcomes for our patients. We also offer community outreach which has made HealthSouth Plano Rehabilitation Hospital stand out as a leader in the field of neurorehabilitation, for treating many different neurological disorders.

We also take the time to celebrate the individual disciplines and their contributions to our success. We celebrate various recognition events throughout the year, including Occupational Therapy Month, Professional Social Work Month, National Nurses' Week, and Physical Therapy Month, to name a few.
